Introduction
Greenex® Tank Cleaner Heavy–Duty Cleaner/Degreaser provides a cost– effective performance for Tank Farm Cleaning, ISO tank cleaning, Off–Shore exploration rigs, Production platforms, Slop Tank & Crude Oil Tanks cleaning and Process side cleaning in Oil Refineries & Aromatic Plants.
As government regulations strengthen towards the use of environmentally sustainable practices, these water–based Greenex® Tank Cleaner Heavy–Duty Cleaners/Degreasers are highly effective biodegradable alternatives to replace current solvents and petroleum–based cleaners.
Strict restrictions for working environment in confined space due to presence of highly dangerous Volatile Organic Compound (VOC), enables the use of water–based biodegradable cleaners/degreasers as good alternative.
Greenex® Tank Cleaner Heavy–Duty Cleaners/Degreasers can also be used in the cleaning of the process side of heat exchangers, boiler burning guns and all mechanical parts soiled by oil and grease.

Directions
1. Seawater and cleaning Dosage requirements are under technical advice. The amount and nature of contamination and the sea conditions must be taken into determining account. Greenex® Tank Cleaner can be used for the removal of oil sludge from double bottom tanks whilst the vessel is at sea. Agitation is provided by motion of the ship and this ensures that the cleaning solution reaches all part of the tank. Solutions strength should be 2 to 5% per ton of sea water and may be added down the sounding pipe.
2. Spot cleaning Clean break can be sprayed the dilution by water jet (ratio 1part :5-10 part of water up to stain) over tank surface to be cleaned, Using tank washing machines or high pressure jet, wash down tank walls, Keep stripping and transfer to holding tank or slop tank and allow time before removing the water phase.
3. Soak Cleaning In the absence of pumping equipment ,tanks may be cleaned simply by filling to 80% capacity and adding 5% of Greenex® Tank Cleaner per ton. The temperature should be raised to 60’C and maintained for 1 to 2 days. The tank can be emptied and flushed with sea water.
